Anthem

The little wisp of hair fell down her spine, as the crickets chirped songs of Summertime.

Well, Hey There

I recently had a few comments, and a new follower!
So, I wanted to say; Hi and welcome to my blog:)

I also wanted to say that I appreciate the comments and the new follow, and I'll get back to them and check out your blogs as soon as I can! Thanks for taking the time to stop by. :) Unfortunately, however, I'm actually going to be gone from Wednesday-Saturday and I don't post on the weekends. So, I won't be on for a bit. Sorry! So, I probably won't get back to them until Monday at the least. I also will warn you that this is more of a side-blog instead of my main blog. It is a blog in which I write whenever I feel compelled to write, not a blog that I write daily posts in. However, if you'd like to check out my main blog you can find it here; http://thewaytimeworks.blogspot.com/

At Time is Passing sometimes I write random posts, sometimes I include my favorite quotes, sometimes I write messages or talk about inspirational things, sometimes I include my photography; it varies. I just do whatever I feel compelled to post about. However, I usually do have more to say there as I try to make life an adventure so I usually have lessons that I've learned, things I've discovered, or stories to say.

Life is far from dull.
You have to believe this,
You have to believe it.
You have to remember that even when it's hard to.

Complacent Skin

Sitting on the back deck basking in the sun,
Pretending as always that nothing is ever wrong.
Not realizing that we're sitting there wasting in our sin,
Refusing to look at the innocent blood on our hands.

Human nature has struck again...
Lord, help me shed my complacent skin.

Save us, O Lord our God,
Gather us from the nations.
I've been asleep to the crimes I've done,
O Lord, please help me be awakened.

We've become so fond of our ignorance,
Trying to excuse our follies and use Your forgiveness.
We don't change from the sins we've committed and done,
We don't take the time, we'd rather hide our face and run.

Human nature has struck again,
Lord, help shed my complacent skin.

Save us, O Lord our God,
Gather us from the nations.
I've been asleep to the crimes I've done,
O Lord, please help me be awakened.

Yes, the Lord can surely save us,
But we must change too.
And He will hear our cries,
He will see us through.

Who Are You?

Who you were doesn't define who you are.

Who you are now, isn't who you have to be.

Life is full of changes,

Be free, butterfly, be free.

Colors

The day was Grey.
Her heart was Red.
Her tears were Blue.
Her cheeks were Pink.
His intentions were White,
But his words were Black.
The grass was Green.
The road was Charcoal.
Her nailpolish was Purple,
The steering wheel was Brown,

She drove as far as she could to escape that Town.

The Girl

The girl was 19.
She had a wildness about her lurking behind her soft features and unruly hair.
She admired class, and was waiting for her gentleman.
She had fervor in her heart, and fire in her soul.

She often bit her lip out of habit and always looked as if something had caught her eye.
She vividly daydreamed quite frequently and on a regular basis but never losing sight of perspective or reality.

She's was a dreamer, which is in fact, the best thing a girl can be.
Not a fool, no matter what Daisy Buchanan thinks.

She loved awakening to the smell of Coffee, and she loved to write out her words that were sometimes sad, other times beautiful, and all the time worthwhile in her opinion.
The girl will be writing here whenever she feels like it.
She will be writing fragments, poetry, stories, words, and whatever else she wants to write about.

And no, she doesn't know what took her so long to write this.
